The Real Battle Starts After Losing the Weight

Have you lost significant weight using a GLP-1 agonist? Congratulations and welcome to the club! Anyone that has dropped 20 lbs. or more, whether by following a plan incorporating a radical change in diet and exercise or through medical intervention, will soon discover what I did: dieting was, in many ways, the easy part.

My experience in the military has taught me that in any battle, and anyone that has lost 20 lbs. or more understands that maintaining significant weight loss is a real battle, there is no standing still. One is either advancing or retreating. Do not underestimate your body’s propensity to put that weight back on.

Remember: I lost 90 lbs., kept it off for three years, and then gained 20 lbs. back (and lost it in 40 days) because I let my guard down. Maintaining your new weight can be harder than losing those extra pounds was, especially if you used a GLP-1 agonist to assist you in the weight loss fight. You no longer have that appetite-suppressing helper to put your hunger to sleep. The good news is that maintenance looks the same for everyone, regardless of how you dropped that fat, and my maintenance plan can help you keep off what you have so diligently lost. The bad news is that we all face the same challenge: how to live on a reduced caloric intake now that our “dieting” has ended. I can help with that!

Follow along as I share the strategies that have worked for me, including how I lost those 20 pounds again in 40 days. The real battle starts now, but you don’t have to fight it alone. I will post a couple of times a week, sharing my experiences and developing a clear path for you, whether you are just starting out on your weight loss adventure, or, having lost substantial weight, are in need a solid maintenance program!
